I'm so glad that I didn't have to miss this party.

So finally we have finished fetching weird shit for House d'Sivis and it is party time. I finally decided on a costume. Today I am becoming a pirate. Since that airship ride I have been wanting to talk to some of House d'Lyrander's swashbucklers to see how much work it took to pilot one of those ships and I knew Davin would be at the party and could introduce me to them. It turns out that you can't learn that much from drunken swashbucklers. However, you can get them to hand over shiny new weapons. It was almost worth getting pawed at by half-elfs, but I can say I didn't stay long after they showed me the basics. Also there is a school that teaches that sort of stuff, I should look into it after we stop being wanted. Good news I can now kill incorporeal beings and I have an awesome rapier inscribed in Elven, bad news I will probably have to scrub a lot after this party, though that is sort of expected so there isn't so much bad. Davin and I talked a bit about the events so far and I think that he is going to hang with us for a while at d'Sivis.

Fenris, The Monk, and one of Fenris' friends were part of the guard for the party though after awhile I didn't see much of them. Urijah went to talk to some of the half-orcs in House d'Tharask. I hope she meets a nice girl from there. Kerowyn was hanging out with some clerics of Balinor. Clearly clerics do not drink enough because both of them seemed pretty smashed from the beginning. Gimble and Evan were hanging out though suspiciously Amaryllis was absent for a big chunk of the party. Ru was off on his quest to bang all of the Dragonmarked houses, I'll have to ask about how it went afterward. 709 and the Monk also got to mingle with some other warforged which is nice for them. I didn't see much of Skaeal so I hope she is having fun. Everyone else seems to be having a good time and the dancing is about to begin, so all in all it is shaping up to be a good party.

......Fuck Druids

So we are all well on our way to Drooam to find the missing party supplies for the Dragonmarked house party that d'Sivis is throwing and we were traveling with these druids and shifters right. Um can I start off with how no one should have tried to talk to them because they are stuck up bitches who care about nature too much? Because, for real, as soon as they rode out of sight Dire Bears attacked us... for no reason. Turns out Fenris is a shifter and can bite through bears, which is a pretty good skill for this particular situation. Also Karkanna died in battle against the second bear and we burned her body on the field. Good news is she died as she lived, soaked in dwarven booze.

After that depressing job we headed off to the airship. The bastards rode back after we killed the bears to see what was happening. I usually have a rule against hating elves but that red haired bitch was getting on my last nerve. But there probably would have been an issue if I just hauled off and stabbed her.... and they had a lot of people in their group... so it would have been a bad plan. All I can say is thank god they left without setting any more animals in our direction. I mean seriously I thought they were supposed to care about animals, but here they are sending them to be slaughtered because they have some sort of thing against magic users.

So we finally locate the ship and The Monk, The Shifter, and I climb up to check it out. It was on top of a cliff for some reason, and there weren't any people on it which was pretty freaky, but all of the goods were accounted for..... except the tubes of daylight.... which were tossed over the edge. Something tells me that there is a reason those tubes were smashed and it involves things crashing the party. The other party found the spacey captain of the ship who has no memory whatsoever of the last three weeks, tied up in the back, which means someone was controlling his mind and needed him out of the way, or he had a killer party on the ship. He offered to take us back to Ardev and we returned our horses to the original caravan. Levitated horses are basically the funniest thing ever. Kerowyn had to calm them the entire time they were on the airship.

The House d'Lyrander Captain also offered to take us back to House d'Sivis which is nice. He offered the captain's quarters to the Gimble and I because we are from other houses but I prefer to have my own room, even if it has a hammock instead of a bed. Also I'm pretty sure that Ru went out to meet the captain after we all left. Pretty much I consider him paid for having to bring us back. At least he isn't from Phiarlan.

So now we are back at d'Sivis and we have a few days left to figure out a costume. I still have no idea what to go as. Also Evan's wife showed us the rest of the party favors. Looks like it is going to be fun. Poor 709 didn't understand some of the Dragonmarked house customs and Evan's wife wasn't really in the mood to explain. Maybe I can talk to it later. I don't know if I will be able to though considering how the sex talk went last time though.... Anyhow two days until the party.

Title Pending out of Anger

So after that horrible incident in the Cogs, everyone got to chill at Evan's house for a week. It was pretty nice, kind of like being home again. Except we couldn't really leave. Then we noticed we hadn't seen Evanwroat for a while and 709 asked his "wife" about it. Turns out there is a party. That was way better then what I was expecting. I thought maybe he had retreated into an emo psychosis, turns out he just likes decorating. House d'Sivis probably throws a good party. We were all invited and told that is was a masquerade. You know who isn't? Merrix. You know why? Because he is a bitch who hunts down innocent socialites for no damn reason. So also we have gotta design something to wear before next week. Btw that gnome women has got some sorta problem with elves. She keeps giving me these dirty looks. What the hell.

Anyhow Urijah asks if there is something we can do to help and the wife says we can help catch some meat (um no thanks) or go track down the party favors. I think we unanimously decided on the favors. So she sent us off to the House d'Lyrander to see what happened. We immediately are contacted by a half-elf woman who informs us that the shipment was not only not here, but canceled by someone. Also she mistook us for movers, do I look like someone who moves things for other people? Apparently only being half an elf isn't enough to keep stupidity at bay. For this woman at least, so far as I know Skaeal is competent. She tells us that the airship with the favors is stopped in Ardev and we decide to go there as it is only about a day away. We return to tell Evan's wife that we are on the quest to find the stuff.

So then we got on this lightning rail to Wroat and someone picked up another someone from d'Phiarlan and had sex with her on the train. Apparently it was good enough to warrant a standing invitation to House d'Phiarlan. And if that someone does not stop talking about it she is going to find herself tied up and thrown in a ditch somewhere. And I know she could never get out of rope as well as I could.

After the rail we joined a caravan and beat the shit out of some Ankhegs that popped up from the sand. We demolished them in a few seconds and took their shells. We sold them to some shifters and druids Fenris hung out with when we camped the night before. So we made a few platinum which is always a plus. Yeah so it sounds all good and well right, except when we get there, the airship is nowhere in sight and we are told it has gone into Drooam, which is kind of ..... um bad. We decide to pursue it into Drooam and fall into the caravan of those shifters and druids from before. I'm not sure what to expect from Drooam, it isn't officially recognized as a country, which basically makes it pretty sketchy. But at least we will get to ride on an airship.
